Faith

Faith; is a complete trust or confidence in someone or something. But it has more than what the mere definition highlights. One can approach types of faith by what it is directed at: faith in someone and faith in something.

Faith in someone is personal and so very subjective aspect to deal with. That also makes it sensitive as well. I understand the depth of faith that is involved when it comes to trusting a person/people. Person who does so, gives a part of themselves to others. There is one thing that always depends on the one who initiates; i.e. choice. Make sure you invest your faith in someone who knows the value of it. Clear communication can help to enhance what you create. Certain points when considered have a potential to make the experiences favorable. Firstly, know the person you choose to have faith in. Secondly, consider what you have learned from past experiences. Third, behavior of the person speaks louder than their words. Forth, at what cost and what you are getting yourself into. The list can go on. Finally, listen to your gut; it is that voice in you which is beyond reasoning and logic.

I choose to not get into the details of 'faith in someone' because this is not an appropriate space for the same and one size does not fit all when it comes to personalized aspects such as these. We meet different kinds of people and their difference and our difference contributes to the unique associations we form. Of whatever kind, intensity or the quality; it won't be fair to make a generalized comment without knowing the details.

On the other hand, when it comes to having faith in something, the target can be anything and what makes change is you. If you are asked to make a financial investment in something; what will you choose? Something that get you profit, isn't it? Now think of faith as an investment. It then becomes easy to understand that we humans choose to have faith in good and positive than in bad and negative. However, negative voice and bitter experiences sometimes shake the natural spirit in us. Nonetheless, faith never dies.

Do you believe in law of attraction? It is explained as ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on, e.g. A person who is constantly thinking of watermelons will somehow find himself/herself in company of watermelons whether it was desired or rejected in thoughts. To make it simpler, thinking positively and affirmatively of what you want will increase its chances to come to you. So why waste precious energy thinking about what we don't want or think negatively of what we do want?!

The above phenomenon has not enough scientific evidence but there are people out there, who have believed in this and they have been cherishing their manifestations. Sometimes we are just one belief away from having what we want. Ask for what you want, believe that it is yours and receive what you ever wanted!

When faith is unwavering, unshakable and unbreakable it offers strength and hope into your pursuits. As a result, you are more optimistic, generally and especially in times of adversity and challenges. Cloudy sky does clears itself after the rain. Bright light enters after the darkest of nights. Happiness visits after pain that once felt terrible and never ending. Good days come, definitely they do. All it takes to hold on to is faith. Have faith, for dear life.
Don't doubt good things that the universe has for you.
Science too has proved how manifestations work. Self-fulfilling prophecy; belief or expectation resulting in fulfillment, has been widely cited. Who gives the beliefs wings? The believer! When one expects things to go south, they often do. Irrespective of whether one wanted them to or not; it starts with beliefs. Hence, change too begins with believing. It starts with your thoughts and then is followed by your actions/behaviors. A part of being human is to do with how pleasant we want to feel. Thankfully, our thoughts, emotions and behaviors have a good connection among each other. Think about what you want, feel for it and behave in ways that gets you close to its manifestations. Manifestations are real; as real as the smile you get on your face when you realize that you had once asked for what you have today.

Immense faith makes everything possible. It may take time, and with wait patience goes well. How much faith you invest into something reflects how much you valued your wish. Ask yourself: what is it that I want? How badly? Do I value it? Will I appreciate its presence when its mine? The answers that you will get, will offer you insight into whether you really want what you want. If yes, then faith becomes a part of genuine efforts.

I conclude by saying: have faith in good, no matter what. Have faith in yourself and have faith in the universe. Let faith speak for you!

Love, J.

  1. Faith is an abstract theme. Measures of faith varies with every individual.
Yet you established a firm justification of it by truly generalising to every aspect of life.
    Good work!

Love...

Love; one of the purest and precious emotions mankind feels. As I start writing (typing will be an apt word here) about love, I have a smile on my face and I wish to pour my heart into this blog. It becomes easier for humans like you and me to assume that others are more fortunate when it comes to love. But a subtle touch of reality and believe me; everybody has to go through phases of love and no love. Yet, love prevails. What kind of love am I talking about? There are number of labels that can be attached to different kinds of love. To make it simple, considered here is love that holds two individuals in a romantic relationship and love in general which bonds two individuals who aren't dating.  Nelson Mandela said, "Love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite." If one is to reflect; didn't we take time and reasons to hate? While, love happens; and there need not be reasons to feel it.  There are several theories of love. Sternberg's triangular...

Trust

Do we know some of the delicate things/aspects that are still one of the strongest? Ironically, you will come up with a list of such. The end of your list marks the beginning of this blog.  Trust; is one such element associated with living organisms that is delicate but has so much power when preserved. Each one faces a choice: to trust or not? One makes a choice whether they want to trust another being. Trusting a gut or trusting logic. Trusting because there are reasons to or trust because you heard your intuition signal you. Trust is what precedes and follows these choices. For when you have made a choice to trust, it is also about making the same choice over and over again, until there are red flags waving at you to not trust the same person/process anymore. Trust is confiding in others, to rely on them. It is about how much dependability in them you choose to invest. Trust is an important element in most relationships; whether they are personal, social or professional. It is ...

Commitment & Vulnerability

There are waves around me and you too are a part of some ocean. One need not be in the actual waters but the waves hit. The waves of competition, pressure, procrastination, boredom, lack of happiness, doubts, trust issues, unfulfilled expectations, lack of communication and lost courage. These all are the waves that affect us negatively. But look into the wider sea and you will see the waves of strength, courage, resilience, happiness, success and well-being. Get into the boat of self-confidence and drive by efforts. That's pretty much you need to get started!  Commitment and Vulnerability may seem like poles that seldom meet. But here I present them as sides of one coin. Dictionary definition of Commitment says; its a promise to be loyal to someone or something. While Vulnerability is defined as the quality or state of being exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed, either physically or emotionally. I believe in two forms of commitment & vulnerability; to s...
